We’re down to three players. Drew’s still in. Mike from Dallas, up to install media equipment for HR guy Chris, seems to the be the quiet hustler. Kenny, soon to be dad, runs the play-by-play like he’s on ESPN, won a big hand and forced Chris out. He might ride that to the end. Drew, sorry to say, now out during the player background break. So, it’s Dallas versus Hoffman. Card counting savant versus technical guru. The play goes on, interrupted only by the occasional bite of chocolate chip cookie bite. OK, so the night’s mostly about meatballs, beer, gran marnier, and poor poker facing. j
Oh, by the way, to Chris’ wife, he didn’t eat a thing. He was all in early, couldn’t survive Kenny’s fully house, and looked forward to detoxing on some liquids.
Peace out from Denver poker night.

Time for me to take more of your money in poker. I think I’ll be feeling lucky next Friday night, June 8th, at 7 p.m. We’ll play until you cry for mercy or you’re full on Satchel’s Sliders, both original and pulled pork.
As always, it’s $30 per person, including the sliders, some carmel popcorn, potato chips, double chocolate brownies and all the taunting and poker face you can handle.
Send me an RSVP saying how much you can afford to see me pull into my pile.
