About Our Chef:

My name is Jens Patrik Landberg. I am 34 years old.
I began my career in the culinary arts at age 15 when I started culinary school in Stockholm, Sweden. During the two years I went to culinary school, I was trainee at two of the top restaurants in Stockholm. After I graduated, I worked in Stockholm for seven years at different restaurants. I spent a summer cooking at the restaurant 7 1/2 Wonder in Rhodes, Greece. I came to New York in the summer of 2000, to work as a chef at a Swedish restaurant in Manhattan, called Good World Bar & Grill. After that I worked at a Swedish/Asian fusion restaurant called TJA as the executive chef. In 2002, I went to Tampa, Florida where I worked as sous chef for John Terzack at a restaurant called Perch which served New Floridian cuisine. I returned to New York and started as the executive chef at a restaurant in the trendy meat packing district called MEET Cafe which served a Mediterranean cuisine. In 2005, I began working as a chef de cuisine at Ulrika’s Restaurant in the Upper east side, were we had a classic Swedish menu as well as a more modern Swedish cuisine. I spent the next 2 1/2 years (2006-2009) as the executive Chef of Melt Restaurant in Brooklyn, NY, cooking contemporary american cuisine. My family and I moved to Denver, CO in 2009.
